Welcome to COBA

The Central Ohio Bluegrass Association (COBA) started in Columbus, Ohio in 1978. Our goal, to promote and preserve Bluegrass in central Ohio, has broadened, over the years, to include the whole state of Ohio, bringing together musicians and performers for the purpose of playing bluegrass music.

COBA hosts eight concerts each year: seven monthly meetings and one outdoor festival. With two to three bands playing at each meeting and 12 bands playing at the summer festival, COBA provides opportunities for hundreds of musicians and thousands of music lovers to participate.

Every activity is produced by volunteers and the entire year's activity is managed by a volunteer president and board.

This, our website, receives nearly 200 visits per day, mostly to the calendar of Ohio bluegrass events where Ohio's bluegrass fans can find events near them.
